News:

August 21st, 2010:  PFC Predators (Explosion) win silver!

The PFC Predators participated in the 2010 Steel City Showdown 5 v 5 Tournament held in Trafford.  The Predators had two teams competing: Predators X-Treme Team and PFC Explosion.  Both teams played hard all day in the searing heat and with limited substitutions.  The "Explosion" won their division and played in the finals battling hard against the PF Cheetahs, losing 5 - 3.  Congratulations to all of the Predators that participated this weekend for a great tournament!  This is a great start to what should be a great season!

July 17th - 18th, 2010:  PFC Predators (X-Treme Team) win bronze!

The PFC Predators participated in the 2010 Kick-It 3 v 3Tournament held at Turner Valley.  The Predators had two teams competing: Predators X-Treme Team and PFC Explosion.  Both teams played hard all weekend and started the weekend off with a game against each other (0-0 tie).  The Predators X-Treme Team advanced to Sunday's games winning the bronze.  Congratulations to all of the Predators that participated this weekend for a great tournament!  We are proud of you all!!!!

April 9th - 11th, 2010:  PFC Predators are finalists!

The PFC Predators participated in their first "away" tournament - Columbus Blast Cup.  The Predators started their weekend off with a bang and played their way into the finals.  Unfortunately, Columbus Blast FC proved to be too much of a test.  Not all is doom and gloom - the Predators made it to the finals with only one outdoor practice and not playing a full side since October 2009!!  The tournament was a test that the Predators face and passed with flying colors!  The Predators start their season this weekend and are ready for any challenger. Congratulations girls, the coaches and parents are very proud of you!!!  Good luck on the upcoming season!!

November 15, 2009:  PFC Predators score well in West Virginia!

The PFC Predators participated in their first tournament - The Pro Performance Fall Indoor Classic.  The Predators were undefeated with an overall record of 2 - 0 - 2.  The Predators played as a team all day with superb effort and 100% heart resulting in 8 goals scored and 4 goals against.  Unfortunately, the Predators failed to advance because of goal differential.  That did not dampen the Predators spirits as the day was an overall success!!!  Congratulations to the Predators on a great day!

September 4, 2009:  PFC Predators sing National Anthem!

Sarah D., Kate S., Martha S., Erin G., Halle A., and Reilly H., and other members of their music class from the Julia Ward Howe Elementary School (Mt. Lebanon) are going to sing the National Anthem on Friday (9-4-09) at PNC Park prior to the Pittsburgh Pirates game.  The girls participated in a program sponsored by their school.  All the girls are looking forward to the experience.  "Break a leg" girls!!!

July 25, 2009:  Congratulations to the members of the PFC Predators 3 v 3 Team for advancing to the second day of the 2009 Kick-It 3 v 3 Tournament being held at Turner Valley.  The Predators would like to thank Coach Walter "Mick" Sullinger for bringing the girls together for the tournament.  The Predators who participated were Erin G., Martha S., Sarah D., Kacey S., Lizzie S., and Halle A.  This was the first competition for the Predators.  Great job ladies and good luck on Sunday!
