PFC Junior Academy

Date of birth 8/1/97 to 7/31/03

PFC Fall 2008 Junior Academy will be held Thursday Evenings 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Park Ave School in Bethel Park starting September 11, 2008. The Fee for the Fall program will be $100 per player.

The Academy is open to all children, Boys and Girls U11 and under (DOB 7/31/2003 - to 8/1/1997). who are interested in further developing their soccer skills. The program will consist of quality training and matches against other local Classic Clubs Junior programs The Junior Academy is a developmental program for players of all skill levels .The PFC Junior Program is also the first step in training for playing Soccer at the Classic Level.  Throughout the academy players will be identified for continuing training  at the Classic Level

Pittsburgh Football Club Junior Academy coaches include: 

Rich Salvini ( Director of Coaching):  Rich has the NSCAA National License and was the PA West Premier Classic Coach of the Year in 1998-1999.

Charles Spritz:  Coach Chuck Spritz holds a NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.  Coach Spritz has several years experience coaching youth players with the Monroeville Soccer Club and is the current coach of the PFC U15G.

Kelly Mehalko-  Coach Kelly has a National C Coaching License and over 18 years coaching experience at all levels of soccer including  at the college level where she was an  assistant coach for Div 1 Robert Morris,  the High school level where she coached  at  Bethel Park, Charters Valley, and Elizabeth Forward. She  also has coached for several Premier Soccer Clubs, where she has lead  several team to be PA State Champions and she is the current coach of the PFC Pride U14G

 Tim Antonelli: Coach Antonelli has been coaching youth  soccer for over 24 years, Including Thomas Jefferson High School Girls and Classic Teams. His teams have won their section and several major tournaments while under his reign. Tim will be the coach of the Fall 2008 U11 boys team.
